NEW TECHNOLOGIES - RESEARCH CENTRE
New Technologies – Research Centre (NTC) of the UWB in Pilsen is a university research center focusing on green technologies, advanced and quantum materials, and innovative solutions in energy, transportation, and human well-being since 2000.

AMERICAN CENTER PILSEN
The American Center Pilsen is a cultural, educational, and advisory center that brings America closer to the West Bohemian public. It offers free educational events, study consultations, discussion seminars with American and Czech experts, and access to resources about the USA. The event continues the tradition of the Pilsen Talks organized by the American Center Pilsen.

CITY PILSEN
Pilsen is the fourth largest city in the Czech Republic. It is located in western Bohemia. It is an important industrial, commercial, cultural, and administrative center. The city was founded on the confluence of four rivers - Uhlava, Uslava, Radbuza and Mze - by the Czech king Wenceslas II in 1295. Situated on the crossroads of two important trade routes and close to Prague, Pilsen experienced immediate rapid growth. Nowadays, the Pilsen metropolitan area covers 125 square kilometres. Its population is 165,000 inhabitants.
